Professor Ch'en Shou-yi (Chinese: 陳受頤, 1899-1978) was a Chinese scholar known for his groundbreaking contribution to the comparative cultural studies of modern China and the historical studies of Sino-Western cultural exchange. This collection contains the personal papers of violinist Kenneth G. Fiske, who joined the Pomona College faculty in 1936. A musical prodigy, Fiske studied at many prestigious music programs and under prominent European and American instructors. At Pomona, Fiske taught the violin and was the conductor of the college's symphony orchestra. Materials include correspondence, sheet music, audio recordings, writings, and teaching materials.
